Passion for art, fairy tales and meditation finally came together
For starters, I never intended any of this...
I loved all sorts of handicraft since I was little. I used to do crochet, macrame and embroidery when I was young, then I moved to drawing with ink and watercolors, painting on glass, sculpting in Fimo and carving gourds. But when I was presented a trial lesson in a jewelry studio, all else was forgotten.
I always loved myths and fairy tales and believed that they're necessary to shape the world we live in.
In 1999 I started learning meditation and energy work and since then never stopped practicing. It became my door into personal mythology - the world we create for ourselves, the rules we choose to abide by, the heroes we strive to emulate and the examples we set to others.
And then my love of crafts and handmade items turned onto jewelry. When I made my first silver ring, I was thrilled: I actually created an item - a real wearable item - out of metal! Since then I understood how metalwork and wax carving became part of my personal myth, how designs envisioned in meditation can become reality, how meaningful jewelry can help people find inner peace, strength, joy and love. And that is why I do what I do. Every item in my list has its own intention, every design - a story of looking for freedom, happiness and fulfillment.
I'm a jewelry artist with a passion for nature. Many of my designs are inspired by living things - flowers, leaves, animals... I also like fantasy, so beasts like dragons are common guests of my design sheets.
I create my models from the start - design on paper - then translate them to metal (s ilver or gold) and do all the work until the piece is polished and ready to wear.
I'm open to custom orders, so if you have an idea for a piece you'd like to have, I'll be happy to create it for you.
